Store & Fishing Manager: Sarah Hoog
Having grown up fishing the local fisheries of Biscayne Bay and the Everglades, Sarah has recently taken up fly fishing and has found a way to re-discover a childhood passion. She spends time chasing bones, tarpon and permit on the Florida Keys flats, snook and redfishing the Everglades with her husband, as well as tournament-fishing the Florida Keys Sailfish Circuit with her Ladies Team in the winter. Sarah has had the privilege to learn the ins and outs of our amazing South Florida fishery from two true fishing addicts, her husband Chris, who is a sportfish captain and flats guide, and her father Bob Hoog, a local boat builder in the '80s and '90s. In her spare time Sarah is either fishing or spending time with her five dogs and horse. Sarah and the Orvis Ocean Reef staff are well versed in all the area has to offer, so if you are looking for some local information or if you’d like to book the fishing trip of a lifetime, contact us for all of your sporting needs.
